About Hannah Yterdal I am currently a sophomore Anthropology major at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Horses and photography are two of only a few things I have been passionate about for years. I have loved horses for as long as I can remember, but I became serious about them when I was seven years old and my parents signed me up for a riding camp. Since then, I have competed in hunters and dressage, earned my Instructor Certification with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, and delved into every other equestrian sport from Western Pleasure to driving.

My passion for photography began at 13, when I got my hands on my mother's old Olympus and finished off the role of black and white film inside it. Some of my favorite shots I've taken are those old black and white images. I then inherited 1986 Minolta XG-A camera and began to really explore the world of photography. For years, most of my spending money went into buying rolls of film and developing them. Then in spring 2007, I made the move to a digital SLR camera when my uncle Bill Jackson bought the Canon EOS 30D for himself and gave me his Digital Rebel XT.
